first person Role Playing Games? Empty first person Role Playing Games?

I used to play Final Fantasy during my teenage years, and used to love the plot of the game. From monsters such as Fenrir and Fahrir to the different quests that we had to fulfill in order to unlock the next part, it was a fun-filled experience that also twitched the mind. Can you recommend a First Person RPG that can match the class of Final Fantasy?

Oh man, I grew up playing role playing games! Although, I don't have the time to play them any more. So I can't really give you any recommendations.

The Elder Scrolls games and Lord of the rings are the only two games I can play like that.
