If it came down to a choice and you only could have one pet, would you choose a cat or a dog? - Why?

You can not say both, you only get to choose one or the other.

Dogs. Much better to train, no litter box bullshit, actually display obedience. Can be a protector of the home too.

A dog notices that you provide provide the shelter, the food, the walks, the attention, and will deduce that you are some kind of god.

A cat notices you provide the shelter, the food, deal with the litter, give them attention and affection on demand, and will conclude they are a god to you Smile
