Currently rated 9.1/10 on www.imdb.com with almost 200,000 votes. It's one of the best tv shows ever made in my opinion. It aired on Fox. And was only given one season before Fox canceled it. They never really gave it a shot to build up a fan base. But soon after they had realized their mistake. Allowing for a movie to be made to give the series at least some sort of conclusion.

To my knowledge, no other tv show has ever been given a feature length movie with only having one season being aired. Still to this day, the show has a massive following and fans to continue to ask for a reboot/continuation of the show. Which is very unlikely at this point lol. The show's creator Joss Whedon has gone on to direct two of the biggest movies of all time, Marvel's the Avengers movies. And most of the shows cast has had a lot of success following the shows end. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend watching it. It was available on Netflix but I'm sure if it still is.

For me, a show that was cancelled too soon, was Terra Nova. I had hoped that Fox had continued airing the show, as I like the show, and the idea behind them colonizing the past, where dinosaurs had the potential to threaten to end their existence.

I also enjoyed Terra Nova and was greatly confused when they canceled it. But lets be honest here, fox cancels a lot of tv shows.
