Do you download movies through torrents? Share your experience about annoying torrents

I do collect movies that I like. Sometimes I can't get my hands on discs so I had to download them. During those times, I do download movies through torrents. Sometimes, I ended up with zip and rar files and I had to delete them. Even though most of the torrents are good there are such annoying torrents that you had to complete a survey to get the movie. So, have your guys come across these torrents? If so, did you ever complete that survey to get the password? As for me, I never did as all those sites, asked for my credit card number and I really don't want to give it out. As a programmer, I would never trust in complete security or privacy.

I'm not sure which kind of torrents you are referring to(free & legal or the pirated kind). Just make sure that you are adhering to the forum rules please. But no, I don't download torrents. Filled full of spam and viruses. There a couple of websites that host free & legal content that are nice. But not really my thing. Seeing as how much of the content is documentary's and the like.
