What is your favorite genre with respect to songs and music?

This is indeed a difficult question for me. I like good beat but if the song lyrics are just too bad, I will never ever listen to it again.

I like songs with good lyrics and cool music. So, may be I am into inspirational genre. I am not really trying to be picky but I don't get what's the big deal about lyrics containing curse words and such. My friends used to say that "they rock" but I can never be able to understand that. I hope I am not making look myself as a freak here.
Now, what about you guys?

I don't really understand the question, but I assume you are trying to ask if I prefer lyrics over sound...and yeah that's a difficult question to answer as you cannot do without either of them. Which would mean I'd rather have both if possible, if not I guess lyrics is what make the song, since the music could be added into a remix and changed.
