Ghostbusters is a 2016 American supernatural comedy film directed by Paul Feig and written by Feig and Katie Dippold

Starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams, Chris Hemsworth.

The Movie has done great numbers at the BOX OFFICE.

This is a mediocre horror/comedy that deserves neither high praise nor disparagement. As is so often the case with special-effects-heavy movies, the character comedy quickly gets trampled by the effects (in this case, not special).

Not surprised by this. But saddened. I grew up watching ghostbusters. And to see the franchise lowered down to this level saddens me. While I find Melissa McCarthy funny on some occasions, her acting isn't the best. Combined with the rest of the cast, this movie was already setup for failure. I thought the idea of a remake was a good idea. However... Wrong cast and script.

As Steve said, the movie was made to fail due to the fact that they did it to please a movement aka feminism. If you dont do it for the fans of the frenchise it is doomed to fail 99% of the time.

Yup, which sucks because the ghostbusters movies were and are classics! It's kinda like Indiana Jones 4, which was also an awful movie.

My significant other saw this movie and he said that it really stunk. I will not be watching it.
